As of the 8th of August 2003 BlogWorks XML is no longer being actively developed.

The links below will be available until further notice. There is currently no support availabe. Email me if you are interested in supporting the packages via a free forum. I am willing to host forums on my site.

BlogWorks XML 1.1.2

v1.1.2 includes an important security fix to a bug identified by Nic Limper of fotos.by.NL

BlogWorks XML 1.2

v1.2 is the last full release. (Includes security fix mentioned above)
New Features include:
PingBack server/client, CommentAPI implementation with a single entry point for Comments, TrackBacks and PingBacks.
RSS Feed template, Archive Pages template (they no longer use the Main Blog template)
A whole bunch of other bits and pieces.

BlogWorks XML 1.3 Preview

For the adventurous or those who would like to develop BlogWorks further (and even release it under a GPL License)
v1.3 introduces a number of new features:
Multiple Syndication feed templates created from user definable templates.
The ability to define other servers for 'pinging' rather than simply having hard coded values.
Categories with each category having it's own page. The archiving strategy remains the same so permalinks won't be broken.
Note: this is preview code. It's more or less feature complete but no beta testing has been done and the help system hasn't been updated to reflect the changes. You'll have to puzzle it out - a good place to start would be to look through engine.asp to see what new tags have been introduced and how they work.
